SAFETY
Sit in the operator’s seat and start the
engine
• Adjust the seat to securely latch it.
• Fasten the seat belt.
• Check if the parking brake is on and
control levers and pedal are in the neutral
position.
• Check if the safety bar is in the lock
position.
• Make sure that no one is near the machine.
• Start and operate the machine only from
the operator’s seat.
• Never attempt to start the engine by
shorting across the ignition terminals.

PRECAUTIONS WHEN STARTING
Starting with jumper cables
Use jumper cables only in the recommended
manner. Improper use of jumper cables can
result in battery explosion or unexpected
machine motion.
Refer to “If the battery goes dead” for further
instructions.
