from
midway
through
a
tape
(append
recording)
The
absolute
time
written
may
not
be
accurate
if
the
append
recording
is
conducted
after
the
tape
is
fast
forwarded
or
rewound,
The
append
recdérding
function
makes
it
possible
to
search
the
position
of
the
use
again
marker
(see
page
42)
written
on
the
tape
and
set
the
deck
to
the
recording
standby
mode.
When
append
recording
is
performed
using
this
method
described
below,
no
unrecorded
parts
will
Temain
on
the
tape,
and
the
absolute
time
can
be
recorded
uninterrupted.
Preparations:
1.
Check
that
the
“accidental
erasure
prevention
tab”
on
the
DCC
tape
for
recording
is
set
to
the
recording
position.

cassette
tape.
