  If the KW value displayed on your TED Timer RDU doesn't seem correct, or doesn't change when you turn on an electrical load, the current transformers may be installed incorrectly. Ensure that both CT's have their red polarity dots facing in the same direction and that the jaws on the CT’s are firmly closed together. Also, ensure that the house code set in the RDU matches that set in the MTU, because you might be reading your neighbor’s energy use.

  If the KWh use matched your bill but the dollar amount didn't, it means the rate setup in your TED Timer is incorrect. Make sure that TED is programmed correctly. If you are not sure, send an e-mail with a copy of your utility bill, or the name and address of the utility and the rate code in effect to the support. They will send you the correct setup parameters to use.
