This chapter contains performance verification procedures for the specifications
marked with the
symbol. The following equipment, or a suitable equivalent, is
required to c
omplete these procedures.

These procedures cover all MSO5000 series and DPO5000 series models.
Disregard checks that do not apply to the specific model you are testing.
Print the test record on the following pages and use it to record the performance
test results for your oscilloscope.
NOTE. Completion o f the performance verification procedure does not update
the stored time and date of the latest successful adjustment. The date and time
are updated only when the adjustment procedures in the service manual are
successfully completed.
The performance verification procedures verify the performance of your
instrument. They do not adjust your instrument. If your instrument fails any of
the p erformance verification tests, you should return the instrument to Tektronix
for adjustment or repair.
