MAKING A CALL 13
- The phone will start emitting the warning tone if the warning tone setting is on.
- Your phone will start calling your emergency contacts one by one starting from the rst one until 
an emergency contact answers the call and presses the 0 key on their phone within 20 seconds, 
or you press  or  to deactivate the SOS function.
- After an emergency contact answers the call, they will hear a repeated voice message telling them 
this is an emergency call and they need to press the 0 key to accept.
- For  each  contact  it  calls,  your  phone  will  keep  calling  for  20  seconds  before  trying  the  next 
emergency contact.
- If none of your emergency contacts answers the call and presses the 0 key on their phone within 
20 seconds, your phone will restart calling your emergency contacts one by one starting from the 
rst one. Your phone will do so only twice.
- If SOS SMS is on, your phone will send the SOS message to each contact it calls.
- In case you activate the SOS function by mistake, you can deactivate it by pressing  or .
10. MAKING A CALL
10.1 Placing a call and ending a call
To call a phone number that is not in your contact list, return to the home screen, use the keypad to 
dial the desired number, and press  .
Tips:
- If you dial the wrong number, delete the incorrect digits by pressing  .
- You can save the dialed number to your contact list by selecting Options > Save to Phonebook.
To call a phone number that is in your contact list, go to Menu > Phonebook, select the desired
contact from your contact list, and press  .
To end a call, press  .
10.2 Answering / declining a call
To answer a call when your phone rings or vibrates, press or .
To decline a call when your phone rings or vibrates, press  . The caller will be transferred to your 
voicemail if you have set up your voicemail.
Tips:
- To mute the ringtone of an incoming call, press  .
- You can adjust the volume of your receiver during a call by pressing the volume keys on the right 
side of your phone.
- You can also answer a call by other means by turning on other answer modes. To turn on or o 
other answer modes (Cover answer, Any key and Auto answer when headset mode), go to 
Menu -> Settings -> Call settings -> Advanced settings -> Answer mode.
10.3 Speed dial
Speed dial is a function that allows you to place a call by pressing a single key. This function is 
particularly useful for phone users who dial certain phone numbers on a regular basis.
You can assign speed dial phone numbers to these keys: 2 to 9, M1, and M2.
To place a call using speed dial, use either of the methods below:
- From the home screen, press and hold M1 or M2 to call the assigned phone number.
- From the home screen, press and hold a number key (2 - 9) to call the assigned phone number.
To assign a speed dial phone number to a key, use either of the methods below:
Method 1:
1. Go to Menu > Settings > Speed dial and select M1/M2 key or 2-9 Number.
