14. MULTIMEDIA
You must insert a microSD card into your phone to use all functions in this category except FM
radio.
14.1 Camera
You can use the camera of your phone to take photos or record videos.
To open the camera, press from the home screen, or go to Menu > Multimedia > Camera.
The camera works in the camera mode by default.
- To take a photo and save it, press or OK. All photos taken with the camera are saved in the
folder named Photos in the root directory of the microSD card.
- Press to access the available camera settings.
- To switch to video mode, select Options > Switch to video recorder.
- When in video mode, press OK to start, pause or resume video recording. Press to stop and
save the recording. All videos recorded with the camera are saved in the folder named Videos in
the root directory of the microSD card.
Camera settings
- Switch to video recorder/Switch to camera: Toggle between the camera and video modes.
- Flash: Turn the ash on or o. This setting is only available in camera mode.
- Image quality: Select one of the available resolutions for taking photos. The higher the resolution,
the bigger the photo le size. This setting is only available in camera mode.
14.2 Image viewer
You can use Image viewer to view photos taken with your phone's camera. To open Image viewer,
go to Menu > Multimedia > Image viewer.
- Press the navigation keys ( ) to navigate the list of photos and press OK to view the
chosen photo in full-screen mode.
- Press to access the available options (View, Send, Use as, Delete, Delete all les and Image
information).
- When viewing a photo in full-screen mode, you can press or to go to the previous or next
photo, or select Options > Rotate view to rotate the photo clockwise by 90 degrees.
14.3 Video recorder
When you open Video recorder by going to Menu > Multimedia > Video recorder, your phone
opens the camera in video mode. To learn how to use the camera in video mode, see "14.1
Camera" on page 19.
14.4 Video player
You can use Video player to play videos recorded with your phone's camera. To open Video player,
go to Menu > Multimedia > Video player.
- Press or to navigate the list of videos and press OK to open the chosen video. You phone
will display a preview picture of the video with the control bar at the bottom of the screen.
- When the control bar is visible, press OK to start, pause or resume playing the current video. Press
or to skip to the previous or next video. Press and hold or to seek through the current video
(fast-forward/rewind). Press to stop the playback.
- When the control bar is visible, press to start playing the current video in full-screen mode. To
exit full-screen mode, press any of the navigation keys ( ), OK, , , or any of the
number keys.
- When navigating the list of videos, press to access the available options (Play, Send, Delete
and Delete all les).
