Phonebook
To store a phonebook entry as a speed
dial number
The keys to enable one touch speed
dialling of entries stored in the phonebook.
1. Press
twice.
2. Scroll
to
DIRECT MEM
and press
3. Press to select
KEY 1 - 9
and
press . The current entry, if any, is
displayed.
4. Press again to open the options menu.
5. Press to add an entry from the
phonebook.
6. Scroll to the entry you want.
Press to confirm or to return to
standby.
To delete a speed dial number
1. Press twice then scroll to
DIRECT MEM
and press .
2. Scroll
to select
KEY 1- 9
.
3. Press
to display the current entry.
Press
again to open the options menu.
4. Scroll to
DELETE
and press .
5. Display shows
CONFIRM?
. Press .
6. Press to return to standby.

retrieve your messages.
Your Telstra Colombo is programmed to
access Telstra Home Messages 101® or
MessageBank®.
To retrieve a message from your
message service
1. Long press the key and follow the
message service prompts.
Flashing Message Indicator (FMI)
The Telstra Colombo is designed to provide
visual message indication ( ).
To arrange the connection to the Flashing
Message Indicator feature, simply call Telstra
on 13 2200.
When a message is left in your MessageBank
service, a signal is sent to your telephone and
the
icon will be displayed on the handset.
The icon will disappear a short time after
you have listened to all your messages.
