OIL LEVEL
Location:
Sight glass (A). Behind the rear panel.
To
Check:
Move
the machine to level ground.
Level the frame.
Completely retract the boom.
Position the forks level.
Lower the
boom
to the ground.
Oil should
be
visible

way in the sight glass.
NOTE: Refer to page 5-24
of
this manual for the proper oil
specifications and capacities.
INSPECT
AIR
CLEANER
Location:
To Check:
Air cleaner assembly.
Remove the rear
of
the canister, remove the
elements.
A
Guideline:
Inspect the filter elements for contamination.
Inspect the tubing going to the filter body
from the engine for cracks
or
leaks. Inspect
the air cleaner body and gaskets for cracks
or leaks.
& WARNING
Due to various operating conditions, the air cleaner's
elements should
be
changed
as
often as the environment
requires.
