Location:
Test port 2 (A).
Behind
the right hand rear side screen.
Control block (B).
On
the front face
ofthe
oil reservoir.
Cartridge (C).
On
the
control block.
To
Check: Attach a pressure gauge to test port 2 (A). Start the
engine.
Do
not operate any controls. The pressure
reading should
be
as follows:

TH844C

ToAdjust:
Loosen the
jam
nut
on
the steering cartridge
(C) and turn the allen head adjusting screw
clockwise to increase the pressure and
counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.
Retighten the
jam
nut.
GAUGEPORT3(G3)
CONTROL (PILOT) PRESSURE
Location:
Test port 3 (D). Behind the right hand rear side screen.
Control block (B).
On the front face
of
the oil reservoir.
Cartridge (E).
On
the control block.
To
Check:
Attach a pressure gauge to test port 3 (D). Start the
engine.
Do
not operate any controls. The pressure
reading should
be
as follows:

TH842C
TH844C
500 PSI
500 PSI
500 PSI
ToAdjust:
Loosen the
jam
nut
on
the controller cartridge (E)
and turn the allen head adjusting screw clockwise to
increase the pressure and counterclockwise to
decrease the pressure. Retighten the
jam
nut.
