3.3.7 PLC TEST

DESCRIPTION
3.3.7.1 PLC TEST
PLC or Power Line Carrier test is for testing wired communication
systems such as TWACS, etc. It bypasses the internal voltage and
generation circuits.
KEYPAD & FUNCTION KEYS
Press to enable service voltage only to
socket
Press to enable service voltage and load
current to socket
When power is enabled, the control buttons adjust accordingly
Press to disable voltage and current to
socket
Press to disable current only to socket
Service voltage will remain enabled

Select voltage value
SET CURRENT
Current set by the user
LOAD
Displays either of the following status:
 OFF – no current is flowing
 ON – current is flowing
MEASURED V
Measured voltage

3.3.8.1 DISCONNECT TEST
Disconnect testing is used for testing meters with built-in disconnect
contacts. This test can only be performed on 1S, 2S, or 12S meters.

Enables voltage, back voltage, and
current
Enables back voltage
Applies back voltage and current to the
socket
When the buttons are turned on, the user can also switch them off:
Disables voltage, back voltage, and
current
Disables current only. Voltage remains
enabled.
