4.1.4.1 SETTING THE PULL VARIATION
Select: PULL RESOL. (daN): 50 (or another pre-set value) corresponds with
the resolution with which the pull is displayed, recorded and printed by
the instrument. Higher data precision but less display stability occurs
at low values, whereas lower data precision but greater display
stability occurs at high values
ATTENTION: the calculated and displayed pull value is always
rounded down

4.1.4.2 SETTING THE DIRECTION
Select: MODE: Unidirectional (or Bidirectional). If the machine is to always
function in one direction (e.g. only puller or only tensioner), select the
unidirectional mode: therefore, the instrument will only perform one
calibration that will be applicable for this functioning mode. On the
other hand, if the machine is to be used in either direction (e.g. puller-
tensioner), select the bidirectional mode and the instrument will
perform two different calibrations for the two modes, changing the
calculation automatically during the monitoring process when the
direction is inverted.
& Press: to select Unidirectional if only one direction will be used
or
& Press: to select Bidirectional if either direction will be used
& Press: to confirm the selection and move on to the next parameter
or
& Press: to return to the menu without saving any changes made
4.1.4.3 SETTING THE MODES

ATTENTION: this parameter is only
available if UNIDIRECTIONAL
mode was selected in the previous step
& Press: to select Tensioner
or
& Press: to select Puller
& Press: to confirm the selection and return to the machine parameter edit
