This value corresponds to the number of calibration steps required
on the tensioner scale. Generally, it is recommended to perform at
least four calibration steps, one of which as close as possible to the
intended max. pull of the machine and the others at
intermediate values. Obviously, more calibration steps lead to
greater instrument capacity to follow and reproduce the machine's
behaviour
& Press: or until the desired value is selected
ATTENTION: the values range from 1 to 10
& Press: to confirm the selection
or
& Press: to return to the calibration menu without saving any changes
made
The following appears: PULL STEP (daN): yyyy
This procedure is proposed for each of the steps selected
previously. There is no need to proceed during the pull value
acquisition if the values continuously increase or decrease. If an
error is signalled during the value acquisition process, refer to
Chapter 5 MANAGING ERRORS
& Press: or until the pull value yyyy in correspondence with the
linearisation step x is selected and implement the operations with
this pull setting
ATTENTION: the values range from 1 daN to the set full scale
value of the sensor (refer to paragraph 4.1.3.2)
It is important to calibrate with a dynamic pull rather than a static
pull. The instrument requires approx. 10 seconds to take the
reading and it is recommended to allow the pull to stabilise on the
capstans for at least 30 seconds every time before moving on to
the reading process
& Press: to confirm the selection begin reading
or
& Press: to return to the calibration menu
The following appears: PULL BIT xxxx. The instrument saves the recorded data for
approx. 10 seconds, then:
The following appears: AVERAGE BIT xxxx. The average calculated during the reading
interval is displayed.
& Press: to confirm the reading and move on to the next linearisation
step
or
& Press: to repeat the linearisation step.
4.1.5.4 PRINTING THE CALIBRATION DATA
& Press: or to navigate the menu and select the PRINT
CALIBRATION function
Allows the linearisation table acquired in the previous steps to be
printed.
♦ Select: PRINT CALIBRATION
& Press: to print the calibration data
or
& Press: to exit the print page of the calibration data.
