4.2 CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE
Once the configuration and calibration phase of the instrument is complete, the settings can be
saved on to a flash device equipped with USB interface, printed out or previously saved
configurations can be uploaded.
This management level requires the user to access the main menu, then:
& Press: or to navigate the menu and select the CONFIGURATION
MANAGEMENT function
♦ Select: CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT
& Press: to access the configuration management page
The following appears: PASSWORD: 0000
& Press: or until the desired individual number is selected.
& Press: to move on to the next number of the activation code of the
configuration management process
or
& Press: to exit the code entry page and return to the main menu.
The following appears: RESTORE FROM A PEN DRIVE
WRITE TO A PEN DRIVE
PRINT CONFIGURATION
LOAD A NEW LANGUAGE
DEFAULT CONFIGURATION
4.2.1 RESTORE FROM A PEN DRIVE
♦ Select: RESTORE FROM A PEN DRIVE
& Press: to access the page so as to restore a previous configuration
This lets the user upload the instrument configuration and calibration
data previously saved on a USB stick on to the DLR300. Therefore,
the same instrument can be used on various machines by simply
uploading the saved data of the specific configuration of that
machine.
The following appears: INSERT THE PEN DRIVE
Insert the USB stick into the relative slot found on the upper panel of the instrument and
& Press: or start the restoring operation
or
& Press: to return to the configuration management page.
The following appears: OPERATION IN PROGRESS

Once the recovery phase is complete, the device will communicate whether this has been
completed successfully:

THE PEN DRIVE CAN BE REMOVED
After removing the USB stick:
& Press: to return to the configuration management page.

DRIVE function

& Press: to access the current configuration data saved on to the USB
