testo 454 is a measuring system for the flexible logging of several measurement data.
The data logger measures and saves readings and can execute measurement programs
independently. Any four probes can be connected. In order to be able to program the
data logger and to read out the saved data, the Control Unit or databus controller card is
needed.
The CU or databus controller card and logger are connected together with the aid of the
databus system.
The basic system is available as three options:

Control Unit + logger + terminal plug:
The Control Unit renders the measurement data visible and controls the testo 454 mea-
surement system. The Control Unit facilitates mobile applications.

Databus controller + logger + powerbox + terminal plug
·
Databus controller + logger + terminal plug + databus cable
Using the databus controller, the logger can be operated without the Control Unit.
The Testo databus enables 20 loggers to be connected. The instruments can be
connected to each other either via databus cables or contact bars.
The short instruction manual describes using a logger with a Control Unit or databus
controller. We recommend the user becomes familiar with the instrument using a simple
system such as logger with Control Unit or logger with databus controller. In the case of
