4.4 Installing COMSOFT and databus controller
4.4.1 System requirements

PC with operating system

Windows 2000 or better (if compatible).

Windows XP or better (if compatible).

CD Rom drive
·
Pentium 100 MHz
·
32 MB RAM
·
15 MB free hard disk space
·
Free serial interface (COM) or corresponding adapter.
4.4.2 Installing Comsoft for 454/350

Boot computer.

Insert CD ROM in the disk drive.

The installation menu starts independently. If it does not select “Setup.exe” on the
CD-ROM.

Enter licence number and confirm. If it is being installed for the first time, reboot the
computer. Installation will continue.

Enter names and company names.
The following procedure is menu-driven. Observe information and explanations beside
the buttons.
4.4.3 Installing the databus controller

Install the bus driver on the PC/laptop with the help of the CD-ROM.
