4.6 Switch Configuration Options
The DP83869EVM includes a 4-pin dip switch (S1), which can be used for various test modes and feature
displays. Some of the switch settings can also be used with the USB-2-MDIO GUI for additional control. Except
for switch mode 15, all switch modes are hard-coded and can be used without USB-2-MDIO or any other serial
com port. Refer to Table 4-11 for switch configurations and LED outputs. For each switch, PU is 1 and PD is 0.
