CLEANING THE FEED DOG
OILING THE NEEDLE BAR
1. Remove the needle and the presser foot.
2. Remove the needle plate set screws and remove the needle plate.
3. With a brush, clean out dust from the feed dog teeth. Insert the needle plate.
4. To prepare machine for the next use, insert the needle and the presser foot back.
NOTE: You should often clean the feed dog teeth, if the machine is intensively used.
Remove the face cover.

Apply a few drops of ne quality sewing machine oil to the point indicated by the arrows in the
gures. For machine in constant use, oil two or three times a year. In case the machine does not
work smoothly due to standing idle for some time, apply a few drops of kerosene at the oiling
point, and turn the machine rapidly for a minute. Before oiling, wipe o oiling points.
