2.Double-clickthelsc_lite.exefile.
3.WhentheUserAccountControlwindowopens,ifany,clickY es.
4.Selectthedeviceclasstobetested.
5.Selectthedevicestobetested.
6.Selectthetesttobeperformed.
7.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentostartthetest.Whenaproblemisdetected,information
messagesaredisplayed.Refertothemessagestotroubleshoottheproblem.
UEFIdiagnosticprogram
AUEFIdiagnosticprogramispreinstalledonthecomputer.Thisprogramenablesyoutoviewsystem
informationandtestsomehardwaredevicesinyourcomputer,suchasmemory,storagedevices,the
LCD,andsystemboardbuses.
ToruntheUEFIdiagnosticprogram,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonthecomputer.Ifthecomputercannotbeturnedon,goto“Powersystemcheckout”onpage33,
andcheckthepowersources.Ifanerrorcodeisdisplayed,goto“Symptom-to-FRUindex”onpage43
forerrorcodedescriptionsandtroubleshootinghints.
2.WhentheThinkPadlogoisdisplayed,repeatedlypressandreleasetheF10key.Themainscreenofthe
UEFIdiagnosticprogramisdisplayed.
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentousetheprogram.
