while the boat is docked, beached, etc.
When transporting a boat on a trailer
with the outboard motor attached, dis-
connect the fuel line from the outboard
motor beforehand and keep the out-
board motor in the vertical or on a tran-
som saver bar.
Tiller handle type
While transporting outboard motor
attached to the boat on a trailer, properly
tighten the steering friction bolt to pre-
vent the outboard motor from moving
(page 61).
1. Ground clearance should be provided
sufficiently.
2. Transom saver bar

Do not go under outboard motor tilted up
even if it is supported by support bar, or
accidental fall of outboard motor could lead
to severe personal injury.
