Do not turn off the modem board.
Step 2: Connect a Hand-Held Controller
You can connect the controller to the receiver with a
serial cable.
If the controller is Bluetooth® enabled, you can connect
it to the receiver wirelessly using TopSURV.
• Set the Instrument type to GPS and check the
Bluetooth option in the Connections screen of
TopSURV.
• To change the Bluetooth device that the controller
is connected to, click the Connection icon in the
upper-right corner of the main screen in TopSURV.
Step 3: Start Surveying with TopSURV
1. Create a GPS+ job. A user-friendly Wizard will
guide you through the steps to create a job
configuration.
