10. After double-checking and confirming wire connections, replace the access panel on the VFD.
11. Organize the wires from the VFD into the lower wire trough, and then replace its cover that you set aside in
Step 8.
12. Close the electrical cabinet door.
Verify the Installation
1. Power on the machine and the PathPilot controller.
a. Turn the Main Disconnect switch to ONon the side of the electrical cabinet.
b. Twist out the machine's red Emergency Stop button, which enables movement to the machine axes and
the spindle.
c. Press the Reset button.
d. Bring the machine out of reset and reference it.
2. From the PathPilot interface, on the Main tab, in the MDILine DROfield, type ADMIN CONFIG. Then
select the Enter key.
In the dialog box, select OK.
3. From the Tormach Machine Configuration screen, select 1100MX. Then, select Save and Start.
The PathPilot interface loads.
4. Bring the machine out of reset and reference it.
5. On the Main tab, in the MDILine DROfield, type ADMIN ENCODER TEST. Then select the Enter key.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
