10.Rotatethelockingcollarontheharnessplugclockwise
untilitengageswiththebatteryreceptacleandbegins
topullintowardthebattery.
Note:Continueturningitanother120degrees(1/3
ofaturn)untilitfullyseats.
Note:Ifyoucannotmatethebatterypackreceptacle
withthemachinewiringharnessplugwhilethebattery
packisinstalled,youcaninsteadconnecttheharness
tothebatterypackandtheninstallthebatterypack.
Removethemainpowersupplyconnector(Figure
15)fromthebatterybase.Installtheconnectorto
thebatteryasdescribed.Installthebatterytothe
base,threadingtheattachedwiringharnessthrough
theappropriatehole,andthensecurethemainpower
supplyconnectortothebatterybaseusingthefasteners
previouslyremoved.
11.Removethescrewdriverholdingthebatterybaseinthe
upposition,andgentlylowerthebatteryplatformto
themachineframe.
Important:Donotpinchthewiringharness
betweentheframeandplatform.
12.Securethebatteryplatformtothemachineframewith
thetallnutremovedinstep4.
13.Tightenthepivotfastenersloosenedinstep5.
14.Routethepacktomachinewiringharnessunderand
behindthemainharnessontheleftsideofthemachine
andconnectthesmall,6-pinconnectorontheharness
tothematchingconnectoronthemainwiringharness
asshowninFigure14.
