ServicingtheTraction
InterlockSwitch
Usethefollowingprocedureifthetractioninterlockswitch
needsadjustmentorreplacement.
1.Turnoffthemachineanddisconnectthebatterypack.
2.Removethecontrolpanel.
3.Engagethetractionlever.

Recheckthegap.Thetractionlevermustnotcontact
theswitch.

normaloperatingrangeisbetween.76–3.05mm
(.03–.12inches).Withthetractionleverengaged,verify
thattheswitchlosescontinuity.Replacetheswitch,
ifrequired.
ServicingtheMowSensor
Usethefollowingprocedureifthemowsensorneeds
adjustmentorreplacement.
1.Turnoffthemachineanddisconnectthebatterypack.
2.Removethecontrolpanel.
3.Pushthetractionlevertotheleftandengagethe
mower.
4.Loosenthemowsensormountingfasteners(Figure
42).
5.Placea1.6mm(0.062inch)thickshimbetweenthe
mowsensoragandthemowsensor(Figure42).
6.Tightenthesensormountingfasteners.Recheckthe
gap.Theagmustnotcontactthesensor.
7.Engagethetractionleverinmowingmodeandverify
thattheswitchlosescontinuity.Replacethesensor,
ifrequired.
