Parking-BrakeLatch
Usetheparking-brakelatch(Figure23)inconjunctionwith
theservicebrake.Rotatetheparking-brakelatchtowardthe
brakehandletoholdtheservicebrakeinplace.Pullthebrake
levertorelease.Thetraction-controlleverwillnotengage
withthelatchengaged.
Operator-PresenceControl(OPC)
Youmustengagetheoperator-presencecontrol(Figure22)
beforeengagingthetractionlever.IfyoureleasetheOPC
duringoperation,thetractionleverwillreturntoneutralbut
themachinewillnotturnoff.
InfoCenterLCDDisplay
TheInfoCenterLCDdisplayshowsinformationaboutyour
machineandbatterypack,suchasthecurrentbatterycharge,
thespeed,diagnosticsinformation,andmore(Figure22).

KeySwitch
Thekeyswitch(Figure22)has3positions:Off,Run,and
Start.Withthebrakeoffandthetractiondrivedisengaged,
movetheswitchtotheStartpositionuntiltheInfoCenter
displaylightsup,thenreleaseittotheRunposition.Turnitto
theOffpositionandremovethekeytoturnoffthemachine.
SpeedControl
Thespeedcontrol(Figure22andFigure24)islocatedon
therightrearsideofthecontrolpanel.Rotatethecontrol
toregulatethemachineground/cuttingspeed.Thecurrent
speedsettingisreectedontheInfoCenterLCDdisplay.
Note:Tomovethemachine,youmusthaveboththe
tractionleverengagedandthespeedcontroloffthezero
speedposition.

Ifyourotatethespeedcontroltothezerospeedsetting
(asfarbackaspossible)allcutting/transportactivitieswill
ceaseandthemachinewillstop.Ifyoudothiswhilemowing
(withthetraction/reeldriveleverengaged),themachinewill
stopwiththeautomaticmotorbrakeoff(refertoAutomatic
MotorBrake(page20))andyouwillbeabletopullthe
machinerearward.Movethespeedcontroloffofzerospeed
toresumecutting/transport.
TractionandReelDriveEngagement
Lever
Thetractionandreeldriveengagementlever(Figure25)is
locatedonthefrontrightsideofthecontrolpanel.For
transportoperation,theleverhas2positions:Neutraland
Forward.Pushingtheleverforwardengagesthetraction
drive.
Note:Tomovethelever,youmustrstengagethe
operator-presencecontrol.
