3.Withthemachineon,engagetheparkingbrakelatch,
presstheOPC,andengagethetractionlever(Figure
21andFigure22).Themotorshouldnotrunandyou
shouldgetanadvisoryontheInfoCenterpanel.Ifnot,

nothaveachargememoryissueanddonotneedtobefully
dischargedbeforechargingthem.

detailedinstructionsonchargingthebatterypack.
Ifyouwillbestoringthemowerformorethan10days,ensure
thatyouplaceitonthechargerandleavethechargerturned
on.After10daysofinactivity,thechargerwillautomatically
switchtostoragemode,duringwhichitreducesandmaintains
thechargeto40%ofmaximum.RefertoStorage(page
41)formoreinformationonstoringthemachineandfor
removingthebatteryfromstoragemode.
TransportingtheBatteryPack
TheUSDepartmentofTransportationandinternational
transportationauthoritiesrequirethatlithiumionbatteriesbe
transportedusingspecialpackagingandonlybetransported
bycarrierscertiedtohaulthem.IntheUSA,youare
allowedtotransportthebatterywhenitisinstalledonthe
machineasbatterypoweredequipment,withsomeregulatory
