Theoptionalgroomingbrushattachestothegroomerinplaceofthegroomer
reel.Thegroomingbrushisremovedandinstalledfromthegroomerinthesame
mannerasthegroomerreel;refertoGroomerReel(page9–18).
Thegroomingbrushelementorshaftcanbeservicedseparately(Figure14).
Toremovethespiralgroomingbrushfromtheshaft,removethelocknutand
J-boltfrombothendsofthebrushassemblyandslidethebrushfromtheshaft.
Whenassemblingthespiralbrushtotheshaft,ensurethattheJ-boltsare
installedwiththethreadedportionontheoutsideofthebrushandtightenthe
locknutsto2.3to2.8N∙m(20to25in-lb).
