RemovingtheIdlerAssembly
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Removereeldrivecover,drivebelt,reelpulleyandthenreeldriveassembly
fromcuttingunit(seeReelDriveAssemblyintheServiceandRepairssection
ofChapter4–TractionandReelDriveSystem).
3.Removethegroomerreelassembly;refertoRemovingtheGroomerReel
(page9–19).
4.Removethecotterpinandclevispinfromtheheightadjustmentrodatthe
frontoftheidlerarmandremovetheidlerassemblyfromthecuttingunit.
Discardthecotterpin.
