3.Alignadrainpanorseveralragsunderthesecondary
fuellterandthefuel-lteradapter(Figure129).

5.Usingacleanrag,wipecleanthesurfaceofthe

6.Fillthenewfuellterwiththespeciedfuel.
7.Alignthefuelltertothefuel-lteradapter,androtate
itclockwiseuntilthesealofthefuelltercontactsthe
fuel-lteradapter(Figure129).
Important:Donotuseafuellterstrapwrench
toinstallthenewoillter.Thewrenchcandenta
fuellterandthereforecausealeak.
8.Handtightenthefuellterandadditional1/2turn
(Figure129).
9.Removethedrainpanorragsyouplacedinstep3and
disposeoftheusedfuelaccordingtolocalcodes.

Drainandcleanthetankifthefuelsystembecomes
contaminatedorifthemachinewillbestoredforanextended
periodoftime.Usecleanfueltoushoutthetank.Referto
DrainingWaterfromtheFuelTank(page90)fordraining
instructions.
Note:Performthisprocedurewhenthefuellevelislow,to
avoiddrainingalargevolumeoffuel.
