1.Lightlytapthepaperelementonaatsurfaceto
removedustanddirt.
2.Inspecttheelementfortears,anoilylm,and
damagetotherubberseal.

pressurizedairorliquids,suchassolvents,gasoline,
orkerosene.Replacethepaperelementifitis
damagedorcannotbecleanedthoroughly.
InstallingtheFoamandPaperElements
Important:Topreventenginedamage,always
operatetheenginewiththecompletefoamand
paperaircleanerassemblyinstalled.
1.Placethefoamelementandpaperelementintothe
blowerhousing.
Note:Ensurethattherubbersealisatagainstthe
aircleanerbase.
2.Alignthetabsontheaircleanercoverwiththeslots
oftheblowerhousing(Figure21).Hookthehandle
ontothecoverandpressdownonthehandletolock
thecoverinplace.
