oftheblade(Figure79).Maintaintheoriginalangle.
Thebladeretainsitsbalanceifthesameamountof
materialisremovedfrombothcuttingedges.

thelawnmowertothrowobjectsinthe
operator’sorbystander’sdirectionandresult
inseriousinjury.Also,contactwiththeblade
couldoccur.
•Neveroperatethelawnmowerunlessyou
installacoverplate,amulchplate,oragrass
chuteandcatcher.
•Makesurethegrassdeectorisinthedown
position.
1.Removethelocknut,bolt,springandspacerholding
thedeectortothepivotbrackets(Figure82).
Removethedamagedorworngrassdeector.
2.Placethespacerandspringontograssdeector.
PlacetheLendofspringbehinddeckedge.
Note:MakesuretheLendofthespringisinstalled
behindthedeckedgebeforeinstallingtheboltas
showninFigure82.
3.Installtheboltandnut.PlacetheJhookendofthe
springaroundthegrassdeector(Figure82).
