1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrollevers
totheneutrallockedpositionandsettheparking
brake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Cleanaroundtheoildipstick(Figure35)sodirt
cannotfallintothellerholeanddamagetheengine.
4.Pulltheoildipstickoutandwipethemetalendclean
(Figure35).
5.Slidetheoildipstickfullyintothellertube.Pullthe
dipstickoutandlookatthemetalend(Figure35).If
theoillevelislow,slowlypouronlyenoughoilinto
thellholetoraisetheleveltothefullmark.
Important:Donotoverllthecrankcasewith
oilbecausethismaycauseenginedamage.Do
notruntheenginewithoilbelowthelowmark
becausetheenginemaybedamagedasaresult.
