1.Ifinstallingnewlters,checkeachlterfor
shippingdamage.Donotuseadamagedlter.
2.Iftheinnerlterisbeingreplaced,carefullyslide
itintothelterbody(Figure49).
3.Carefullyslidetheprimarylterovertheinner
lter(Figure49).
Note:Ensurethattheprimarylterisfully
seatedbypushingonitsouterrimwhileinstalling
it.
Important:Donotpressonthesoftinside
areaofthelter.
4.Installtheaircleanercoverandsecurethe
latches(Figure49).

OilType:Detergentoil(APIserviceclassSL,SM,
SN,orhigher)
OilCapacity:withalterchange,1.7L(1.8USqt);
withnolterchange,1.4L(1.5USqt)
Viscosity:Seethetablebelow.

1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheneutral-lockedpositionandsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition(Figure51).
