1.Drivethemachineontoalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),move
themotion-controlleverstotheneutral-locked
positionandengagetheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andremovethekey.
4.Raisethebackofthemachineupandsupport
themachinewithjackstands.
DANGER
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfail
tosupportmachineandcauseaserious
injury.
•Usejackstandwhensupporting
machine.
•Donotusehydraulicjacks.
5.Removethereartiresfromthemachine.
6.Removeanydebrisfromthebrakearea.
7.Rotatethedrivewheelreleasehandletothe
releasedposition.RefertoUsingtheDrive
WheelReleaseValves(page30).
8.Checktoseeifthereisavisiblegapbetween
theL-bracketandthelinkagestop(Figure81).
