ServiceInterval:Every50hours
Checkthebeltsforsquealingwhenthebeltisrotating,
bladesslippingwhencuttinggrass,frayedbeltedges,
burnmarks,andcracks.Thesearesignsofaworn
mowerbelt;replacethemowerbeltifanyofthese
conditionsareevident.
ReplacingtheMowerBelt
Squealingwhenthebeltisrotating,bladesslipping
whencuttinggrass,frayedbeltedges,burnmarks,
andcracksaresignsofawornmowerbelt.Replace
themowerbeltifanyoftheseconditionsareevident.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheneutral-lockedposition,andsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Lowerthemowertothe76mm(3inch)height
ofcut.
4.Removethebeltcovers(Figure82).
