IMPORTANT
Ifthedriveshafttubeandshaftwereseparated,ensurethatthe
driveshaftyokesarealignedwhenthetubeandshaftareassembled
(Figure253).Misalignmentoftheyokeswillresultinshortened
driveshaftlifeandwillcauseunnecessaryvibration.
1.Positiontherearaxledriveshafttothemachine.Ensurethatthedriveshaft
tube(item10inFigure253)istowardtherearaxle.
2.Securetheyokesofthedriveshafttothefrontaxleangeandbi-directional
clutchwiththefastenersthatarepreviouslyremoved.
3.Lubricatethedriveshaftgreasettings;refertotheTractionUnitOperator’s
Manual.
