2.Cleantheareaaroundthe3drainplugs;1on
eachendand1inthecenter(Figure108).
3.Removethecheckplugstoeaseinthedraining
oftheoil.
4.Removethedrainplugsandallowtheoiltodrain
intothepans.

1.Measurethecenter-to-centerdistance(ataxle
height)atthefrontandrearofthesteeringtires.
Note:Thefrontmeasurementmustbe6mm
(1/4inch)lessthantherearmeasurement.
2.Toadjust,loosentheclampsatbothendsofthe
tierods.
3.Rotatethetie-rodendtomovethefrontofthe
tireinwardoroutward.
4.Tightenthetie-rodclampswhentheadjustment
iscorrect.
ChangingtheFrontTires
1.Lowerthewingmowerdeckstotheground.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachineseveralinchesoff
thegroundandsupportitwithjackstands.
3.RefertoPivoting(Tilting)theCenterMower
DecktotheUprightPosition(page80).
4.Pivotthemowerdeckforwardsoyoucan
removethetire.
