leaks,kinkedlines,loosemountingsupports,wear,
loosettings,weatherdeterioration,andchemical
deterioration.Makeallnecessaryrepairsbefore
operating.
Adjustingthe
CounterbalancePressure
Thecounterbalancetestportisusedtotestthe
pressureinthecounterbalancecircuit(Figure119).
Therecommendedcounterbalancepressureis
2241kPa(325psi).Toadjustthecounterbalance
pressure,loosenthelocknut,rotatetheadjusting
screw(Figure119)clockwisetoincreasethepressure
orcounterclockwisetodecreasethepressure,and
tightenthelocknut.Theenginemustberunningand
thedeckloweredandintheoatpositiontocheck
thepressure.
Note:Thecasterwheelsofall3mowerdecks
shouldremainonthegroundwhenadjustingthe
counterbalanceandwithcounterbalanceapplied.
