16. If not already done, remove the bearing retainer that
holds the hex shaft (Fig. 133).

14. Now you can remove the other half of the axle shaft
with the 44-tooth gear (Fig. 130).

15. Remove the two screws from the shift rod bracket
and remove the traction control lever and bracket
assembly from the friction wheel (Fig. 131 and 132).
