Note:Whenthecuttingunitsareenabled,youdonotneed
toholdtheleverintheforwardpositionwhilethecutting
unitsareloweredorraised.
EngineCoolantTemperatureWarning
Light
Thetemperaturewarninglight(Figure21)glowsiftheengine
coolanttemperatureishigh.Atthistemperature,thecutting
unitsaredisabled.Ifthecoolanttemperaturerisesanother
5.5°C(10°F),theengineshutsofftopreventfurtherdamage.
Oil-PressureWarningLight
Theoil-pressurewarninglight(Figure21)glowsiftheengine
oilpressuredropsbelowasafelevel.
AlternatorLight
Thealternatorlight(Figure21)shouldbeoffwhentheengine
isrunning.Ifitison,checkthechargingsystemandrepairit
asnecessary.
Glow-PlugIndicator
Theglow-plugindicatorlight(Figure21)glowswhenthe
glowplugsareoperating.
ParkingBrake
Whenevertheengineisshutoff,engagetheparkingbrake
(Figure21)topreventaccidentalmovementofthemachine.
Toengagetheparkingbrake,pulluponthelever.Theengine
stopswhenyoupressthetractionpedalwiththeparking
brakeengaged.
DiagnosticLight
Thediagnosticlight(Figure21)willilluminateifthesystem
recognizesasystemfault.
FuelGauge
Thefuelgauge(Figure22)indicatestheamountoffuelin
thetank.
