•Swallowingenginecoolantcancausepoisoning;
keepitoutofreachofchildrenandpets.
•Dischargeofhot,pressurizedcoolantortouchingahot
radiatorandsurroundingpartscancausesevereburns.
–Alwaysallowtheenginetocoolatleast15minutes
beforeremovingtheradiatorcap.
–Usearagwhenopeningtheradiatorcap,andopen
thecapslowlytoallowsteamtoescape.

Removedebrisfromtheradiatordaily.Cleanitmore
frequentlyindirtyconditions.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecutting
units,engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,
andremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.Raisethehood.
3.Cleantheengineareathoroughlyofalldebris.
4.Cleanbothsidesoftheradiatorthoroughlywith
compressedair(Figure57).
