Alwaysusecommonsenseandgoodjudgmentwhen
performingthissurvey.
•Slopesareamajorfactorrelatedtoloss-of-controland
tip-overaccidents,whichcanresultinsevereinjuryor
death.Operatingthemachineonanysloperequiresextra

•Theenginehasceasedrunningduetolackoffuel.
•Maintenancehasbeenperformeduponthefuelsystem
components;i.e.lterreplaced,etc.
StartingtheEngine
1.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengagedandthe
cuttingunitdriveswitchisintheDISENGAGEposition.
2.Removeyourfootfromthetractionpedalandensure
thatthepedalisintheNEUTRALposition.
3.Movethethrottlelevertothe1/2throttleposition.
4.Insertthekeyintotheswitchandrotateittothe
ON/PREHEATpositionuntiltheglow-plugindicator
lightgoesout(approximately7seconds);thenrotate
