Thevirtualpedalstop(VPS)featureallowsyouto
temporarilysetamaximumtractionspeedthatisless
thanthepassword-protectedsupervisormaximum
tractionspeed.
Totemporarilysetthemaximumspeedofthe
machine,pressthetractionpedalfullyforward(Figure
50).Youcansetaseparatespeedforthemowrange
andtransportrange(Figure51).
•Toaccessthisfeature,selecttheInfoCenter
middlebuttonfromthemainscreen(Figure51).
Note:Thisfeaturerevertsbacktothesupervisor
maximumspeedsettingswhenthekeyisswitched
off.

•Thisfeatureallowsyoutocustomizethespeed
settingsforyourcomfortlevel,ortocustomizethe
speedsettingstottheapplication.
Wheneverthemaxtractionspeedischangedviathe
supervisormaxspeedsettingsorVirtualPedalStop,
thetractionpedalisautomaticallyreprogrammedto
usethefullpedalstrokebetweenneutralandthe
newmaxspeed.Thismeanstheoperatorgains
moreprecisecontrolofthetractionspeedatlower
maximumspeedsettings.

•Setthemaxspeedtemporarilylowerformowing
thecleanuppassonthefairway.
•Setthemaxspeedtemporarilylowerforimproved
controloperatinginornearthemaintenanceshop.
•Setthemaxspeedtemporarilylowerforimproved
controlloadingthemachineontoatrailer.
OperatingtheCruise
Control
SettingtheCruiseControl
Thecruise-controlswitchlocksinthecruisecontrolto
maintainthedesiredgroundspeed.Pressingtherear
oftheswitchturnsthecruisecontroloff,themiddle
positionoftheswitchenablesthecruise-control
function,andthefrontoftheswitchsetsthedesired
groundspeed.
Afterthecruisecontrolswitchisenabledandthe
speedisset(Figure52),usetheInfoCentertoadjust
thespeedsettingofthecruisecontrol(Figure47and
Figure53).
Todisengagethecruisecontrolusethefollowing:
•Whenintransportrange,pressthereversetraction
pedal,engagetheparkingbrake,orpressthe
cruisecontrolswitchtotheOFFpositon.
•Wheninmowrange,pressthereversetraction
pedal,engagetheparkingbrake,disengagethe
PTO,orpressthecruisecontrolswitchtotheOFF
positon.
Note:Disengagingcruisecontrolresultsinthe
machinedynamicallybrakingtoastop.Ifyou
wouldliketodisengagecruisecontrolbutcontinue
driving,pressthetractionpedalforasmooth
transitionfromcruisecontroltomanualspeed
control.
