Beforeyouleavetheoperator’sposition,dothe
following:
Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
Disengageandlowerthecuttingunits.
Engagetheparkingbrake.
Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
Waitforallmovementtostop.
Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
Wearappropriateclothing,including
eye-protection;longpantsandsubstantial,
slip-resistantfootwear.Keephands,feet,clothing,
jewelry,andlonghairawayfrommovingparts.
Allowmachinecomponentstocoolbefore
performingmaintenance.
Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
Operatetheengineonlyinwell-ventilatedareas.
Exhaustgasescontaincarbonmonoxide,which
islethalifinhaled.
Supportthemachinewithjackstandswhenever
youworkunderthemachine.
Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
Keepallpartsofthemachineingoodworking
conditionandallhardwaretightened.
Replaceallwornordamageddecals.
Toensuresafe,optimalperformanceofthe
machine,useonlygenuineT ororeplacement
parts.Replacementpartsmadebyother
manufacturerscouldbedangerous,andsuchuse
couldvoidtheproductwarranty.

Removedebrisfromthescreenandradiator/oilcooler.(Morefrequentlyindirty
operatingconditions).
Checkthehydraulic-uidlevel.
Checkthehydrauliclinesandhosesforleaks,kinkedlines,loosemountingsupports,
wear,loosettings,weatherdeterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.
Checkthereel-to-bedknifecontact.
Inspecttheseatbelt.
Every50hours
Greasethebearingsandbushings(andimmediatelyaftereverywashing).
Cleanthebatteryandchecktheconditionofit(orweekly,whichevercomesrst).
Checkthebattery-cableconnections.
