handfuelpumptoremovethefuel.Alwaystipthe
machineontoitsside,withthedipstickdown.

•Ifthelterisdamagedoriswetwithoilorfuel,
replaceit.
•Ifthelterisdirty,tapitonahardsurfaceseveral
timesorblowthedebrisoutwardfromtheinterior
ofthelterusingcompressedairatlessthan30
psi(207kPa).
Note:Donotbrushorblowdirtfromtheoutside
ofthelter;eitherforcesdirtintothebers.
3.Cleantheairlterbodyandcoverusingadamprag.
Keepdirtawayfromtheairopening.
4.Installthelterontothebase.
5.Installthecoverandscrewthefastenerdownsecurely.
