1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandlower
theloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
theenginetocool.
3.Openthehoodandsecuretheproprod.
4.Cleananydebrisfromthefrontandside
screens.
5.Wipeawaydebrisfromtheaircleaner.
6.Cleananydebrisbuildupontheengineandin
theoilcoolernswithabrushorblower.
Important:Operatingtheenginewith
blockedscreensand/orcoolingshrouds
removedwillresultinenginedamagedueto
overheating.
7.Cleandebrisfromthehoodopening,mufer,
heatshields,andradiatorscreen(ifapplicable).
8.Closethehood.
CleaningtheChassis
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Checkfordirt
buildupinthechassis.
Overtime,thechassisundertheenginecollectsdirt
anddebristhatmustberemoved.Usingaashlight,
openthehoodandinspecttheareaundertheengine
regularly.Whenthedebrisis2.5to5cm(1to2
inches)deep,cleanthechassis.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheloaderarms.
2.Raisethefrontofthemachinesothatthe
machineisangledbackward.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Removethe2boltssecuringthebottomplate
andremovethebottomplate(Figure74).
