Usethefollowingguidelineswhenloadingthecargoboxand
operatingthemachine:
•Observetheweightcapacityofthemachineandlimit
theweightoftheloadthatyoucarryinthecargoboxas
describedinSpecications(page16)andonthegross
vehicleweighttagofthemachine(Figure20).

•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarryinthecargo
boxwhenoperatingthemachineonhillsandrough
terrain.
•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarrywhenthe
materialsaretall(andhaveahighcenterofgravity)such
asastackofbricks,landscapingtimbers,orfertilizerbags.
Distributetheloadaslowaspossible,makingsurethat
theloaddoesnotreduceyourabilitytoseebehindthe
machinewhenoperatingit.
•Keeploadscenteredbyloadingthecargoboxasfollows:
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargoboxfrom
sidetoside.
Important:Tippingoverismorelikelytooccur
ifthecargoboxisloadedtooneside.
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargoboxfrom
fronttoback.
Important:Lossofsteeringcontrolorthe
machinemaytipoverifyoupositiontheload
behindtherearaxleandthetractiononthefront
tiresisreduced.
•Useextracautionwhentransportingoversizedloadsin
thecargobox,particularlywhenyoucannotcenterthe
wightoftheoversizeloadtothecargobox
•Wheneverpossible,securetheloadbybindingittothe
cargoboxsoitdoesnotshift.
•Whentransportingliquidinalargetank(suchasasprayer
tank),usecautionwhendrivingthemachineuphillor
downhill,whensuddenlychangingspeedorstopping,or
whendrivingovertoughsurfaces.

exceedingtheloadratingsofthemachinecanvarygreatly
dependingonthedensityofthematerial.Forexample,alevel
boxofwetsandweighsapproximately680kg(1500lb),which
exceedstheloadratingby113kg(250lb).Butalevelboxof
woodweighs295kg(650lb),whichisundertheloadrating.
