AC Power Cord and
Connectors
The power cord’s AC input plug must be compatible with the various international
AC power outlets and the cord must meet the standards for the country/region in
which it is used. All cords must meet the following specifications:
Length: Minimum 2 meters
Wire size: Minimum 0.75 mm

Current rating: Minimum 2.5 amperes
Voltage rating: 125 or 250 VAC
(depending on country/region’s power standards)
Certification agencies
U.S. and Canada: UL listed and CSA certified
No. 18 AWG, Type SVT or SPT-2 two conductor
Europe:
Austria: OVE Italy: IMQ
Belgium: CEBEC The Netherlands: KEMA
Denmark: DEMKO Norway: NEMKO
Finland: SETI Sweden: SEMKO
France: UTE Switzerland: SEV
Germany: VDE United Kingdom: BSI
Australia: AS
Japan: DENANHO
In Europe, power cords must be VDE type, H05VVH2-F and two conductor.
For the United States and Canada, plug configuration must be a 2-15P (250 V) or 1-
15P (125 V) as designated in the U.S. National Electrical code handbook and the
Canadian Electrical Code Part II.
