Remove the empty staple case and
replace it with a new one.
- Replace both staple cases with new ones.

Return the saddle staple to its original
position.
- Pull the handle of the saddle stitch holder (1) toward you and turn
it (2) 90º in the direction of the arrow.

Return the saddle stitch unit to its original
position.

Make sure that A3, A4-R or B4 paper is
set.
- If any of the above paper sizes is not set, test stapling cannot be
performed.

Close the front cover of the finisher. Then,
test stapling is automatically performed
on a blank sheet.
- This is performed to avoid empty stitching.
If there is a test stapling failure and “Check staple cartridge”
remains, repeat the above procedure from step 1 to 8.
