Press the [FRONT STAPLE-1] (or
[DOUBLE STAPLE], [REAR STAPLE])
button.
- Only the [FRONT STAPLE-1] button is available when installing
the single-staple finisher (MJ-1022).
z Select other copy modes as required.

Press the [START] button.
If the paper quantity exceeds the maximum number of sheets that
can be stapled, the finisher automatically enters the sort mode.
Maximum Number of Sheets that can be Stapled
- Saddle-stitch finisher (MJ-1024) and multi-staple finisher (MJ-1023)
When Plain paper and Thick 1 paper are loaded, the maximum number of sheets that can be stapled is
the same as that of Thick 1 paper.
