4 Replacement Procedures 4.24 LCD unit/FL inverter
3. Install the LCD unit to the display cover and secure it with the following screws.
• M2×3C S-THIN HEAD screw ×4
4. Connect the LCD cable to the connector on the back of the LCD unit. Stick two glass
tapes in place.
7. Connect two FL cables to a new FL inverter and install the FL inverter in place.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the removed FL inverter.
8. Fix the FL inverter with the insulator.
9. Stand the LCD unit up and fix the display rear cover to the LCD mask while
engaging the latches.
NOTE: When Replacing the LCD mask with a new one, stick new gaskets in place.

10. Secure the LCD unit with the following screws and stick the mask seals in place.
• M2.5×4B FLAT HEAD screw ×2
11. Install the keyboard cover while engaging latches. (In the case of removing the LCD
unit before removing the keyboard.)
